I’m a Helsinki based painter. I have been practicing visual arts in some form or another since I was young, but my passion for painting did not start seriously until a few years ago.
The themes of equality, environment and politics are important to me, and this is also reflected in my art. In my paintings I describe how the surrounding society tries to limit our actions and thinking. I am fascinated by the association of the human body with mental and social phenomena.
I love colors and combining them, which you can see reflected in my paintings. I get a lot of inspiration from music and many of my paintings are inspired by a song or multiple songs. In the Portfolio page there are short playlists accompanying each series of paintings, which allow you to gain insight into my thoughts behind each particular series.
